Trusting God Through Every Season -- Sunday Sept 27
What does it look like to live with integrity when the world seems determined to punish you for it? The story of Joseph in Genesis 39 puts that question front and center. Sold into slavery by his own brothers, falsely accused by Potiphar's wife, and thrown into prison despite doing everything right, Joseph's life is a striking reminder that faithfulness does not come with a guarantee of easy circumstances. Yet through every rise and fall, we are told the same thing: the Lord was with him. This sermon explores what it truly means to live a consecrated life, one fully given over to God's purposes, even when blessings look more like burdens. We are challenged to rethink our assumptions about how God's favor shows up in our lives and to consider whether our trust in God is conditional on things going our way. Joseph's story invites us into a deeper, more honest faith, one that holds steady not because life is fair, but because God is faithful.
