Serve  in  our  world.

The people of St. Luke's have spent years building relationships with our neighbors in Nicaragua. In 2015, college students and young adults traveled to Los Angeles to share love to homeless LA residents; they will go back in Summer 2016. Our middle school and high school students will leave North Carolina on mission trips this summer as well. You can join us!

For more information, contact our global missions coordinator, Pastor Bill Garrard.

  • Nicaragua

GoThe people of St. Luke's support Ronnie and Angi Hopkins, missionaries to Nicaragua, with their prayers, gifts, and sometimes their presence in San Diego, Nicaragua. We also fund scholarships for Nicaraguan students and provide aid for leadership and youth ministry training. We stay connected through CHE (Community, Health, and Evangelism) programming. For more information on our Nicaragua Mission, click here. For information on the next short term mission trip to Nicaragua, contact Pastor Bill Garrard.

  • DERT - Disaster Early Response Team

Our Disaster Early Response Team (DERT) is made up of people who care deeply for others and want to extend that love through practical, needed emergency relief work. To become involved with helping people far and near when disasters strike, connect with our team leader Cindy Lundy.
